Terms of Service

1. About PATHWIZE LLC

PATHWIZE LLC ("Pathwize," "we," "us," or "our") provides professional coaching services through the website pathwize.coach. Coaching is offered by Hal Plitt, an ILCT-trained coach.

2. Nature of Coaching Services

Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment. Coaching is a forward-focused, collaborative relationship designed to help you clarify goals, identify obstacles, and take meaningful action. It does not involve diagnosis, treatment, or management of mental health conditions.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or need clinical support, please seek a licensed mental health professional. Pathwize will not provide services that exceed the scope of coaching.

3. Coaching Agreement Required

All coaching engagements require a signed Coaching Agreement prior to the first paid session. The Coaching Agreement governs the specific terms of your coaching relationship, including confidentiality, session structure, and termination. These Terms of Service apply alongside — not in place of — the Coaching Agreement.

4. Discovery Call

An initial 30-minute Discovery Call is offered at no charge. The Discovery Call is exploratory — it does not constitute the start of a coaching engagement and creates no obligation on either party.

5. Fees and Payment

Coaching fees are as listed on pathwize.coach at the time of booking. Fees are:

• Due in advance of each session or package period, unless otherwise agreed in writing
• Charged in US dollars
• Non-transferable between clients

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. PATHWIZE LLC does not store payment card information.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• 24+ hours notice: Cancellations or reschedules with at least 24 hours notice are accommodated at no charge.
• Less than 24 hours notice: Late cancellations may be charged the full session fee at our discretion.
• No-shows: Sessions missed without notice are forfeited and charged at the full session rate.

We reserve the right to reschedule sessions in the event of illness or emergency. In such cases, no charge will apply.

7. Refunds

Unused sessions in a prepaid package may be refunded on a pro-rated basis upon written request, less any sessions already delivered. Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the most recent session. Sessions already delivered are non-refundable.

8. Confidentiality

We keep your session content confidential. Exceptions include: (a) situations where you disclose an intent to harm yourself or others; (b) legal requirements mandating disclosure; or (c) information you have expressly authorized us to share. Full confidentiality terms are detailed in your Coaching Agreement.

9. AI Transcription

Sessions may be AI-transcribed to support note-taking. You may opt out at any time. Transcripts are deleted after your session summary is delivered. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Intellectual Property

All Pathwize frameworks, materials, and resources shared during coaching are the intellectual property of PATHWIZE LLC and are provided for your personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell these materials without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

Coaching outcomes depend on your active participation and decisions. PATHWIZE LLC is not responsible for results or decisions made based on coaching conversations. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from coaching services is limited to the fees paid for the session(s) directly at issue.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which PATHWIZE LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal proceedings.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
